Q: What is the best deal for Extended auto warranty for 90-100k used 2002 Honda Civic and the price I can expect?
Is it cheaper and effective to get warranty through dealer? or online sites, like http://www.warrantydirect.com/. If I bought the vehicle from individual sales (not through dealer) then will it still be cheaper and effective to get warranty through them?

I know that most warranty won’t cover vehicle that has got milage beyond 100k.

A: There are so many ways to go with extended warranties that it is really your decision…benefits offered and prices vary all up and down the scale, so it would be best for you to look at as many as you “want” to, and compare the coverages/restrictions vs. prices…

You might try searching for a warranty comparison site too, I think they are out there in the ether world…

And yes, there are warranties over 100,000 miles, you just have to find them…

Q: Where can I find a cheap hubcap for a 2002 Honda Civic in the Toronto area?
I lost one hubcap on my 2002 Honda Civic. I don’t want to pay $50 for a new one from the dealership. Where can I find used hubcaps for sale? (I need a grey 15″ 7-Spoke hubcap)

A: any auto place.
downtown would be a good place 2 start if u live near there.

Q: When you are in the market for a car loan, Do you include sales tax, titile, and registration?
I’m looking to purchase a used car, around the year of 2002 Honda Civic for example. Will I search for a loan that includes the priced car, sales tax, title, and registration. Or do I pay does fees separate/ out of the pocket from the price of the car.
Oh, I’m in Phoenix, Az if that helps.

A: You should include all fees

Q: How to test if the transmission of the car is working without test driving it to the highway?
Is it possible for a mechanic to check if the transmission is working properly without test driving on a highway.

The reason im asking this is because I am looking at a used 2002 honda civic ex coupe. The seller take the plate off and put it on his new car. So theres no way to drive it on a highway or to a mechanic shop. Only thing i can do is bring a mechanic to check the car out.

The carfax report for the car is clean, but

http://www.carfax.com/car_safety/ratings/SRR.cfm/year/2002/make/HONDA/model/CIVIC/trim_id/2002HONDCPFCIVIC_EX

Transmission & Driveline An occasional problem on this vehicle is failure of the second gear clutch in the Automatic Transmission. This may cause the Automatic Transmission to slip, and the Check Engine Light to illuminate. Also, when the Automatic Transmission is rebuilt or replaced, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software needs to be updated. The cost to replace the Automatic Transmission is estimated at $1800 for a remanufactured Automatic Transmission and $318.50 for labor. The cost to update the PCM is estimated at $65 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

Im afriad if the car has this problem. Is there any way to check to make sure the car is good?

Thank you.

A: look for another civic

Good luck!
