Q: Is it possible to buy the original stock parts from honda for a 1995 honda civic hatchback vx?
I’m having trouble finding a used 1995 honda civic hatchback vx so i was wondering if you could order the original stock parts from honda.(literally everything, chassis and all down to the last bolt and screw) to assemble it yourself to have a brand new 1995 honda civic hatchback vx. If so, i would greatly appreciate any info on how to go about this.
would it be possible for it to be done at a mass number like in the hundreds for resale?
I wanna build this car from the car up, brand new even though its 1995.

A: yes you can get just about anything you want for a 95 civic you just have to go to a honda dealership and they will have it and if they dont they will know where to get it and they will order it for you i hope that helps

A: Salvage yard – especially one that specializews in Hondas like Fatzinger’s.

Q: Can someone tell me where could i find (online) some stock body parts for my 1994 honda civic hatchback?

A: junkyard, ebay, someone parting out there car on craigslist

Q: Why does the 1995 Honda Civic hatchback VX get such good mpg? Also where can i get one?
I’m wondering what parts or components of a honda civic hatchback vx, that make it get good gas mileage. Also does anyone know where I can get one?

A: The answers regarding the lean-burn VTEC-E engine are on track. This is not to be confused with the ‘high output” V-TEC engines. It’s a little slow off the mark, but certainly not embarrassing. The best I saw with mine was 62mpg, but I got 50+ on many highway trips. It ‘only’ gets around 42 running to work if I don’t use the AC much, and drops to about 38 in the winter.

As to where to get one, keep a sharp eye out, since they’re rare. I’m thinking about selling mine, because my new wife doesn’t like how small and noisy it is. That’s another part of the mileage; it’s made very light by leaving out some of the sound insulation and such. It also has special lightweight wheels.

Q: What parts would i need to install power steering in my 1992 honda civic CX hatchback?

A: pump, bracket, belt hoses and lines, rack at the very least. Sounds like a lot of work to put into a 17 year old car. Just drive it the way it is until it dies, and your arms will be a little bigger to boot.

Q: How to install an A/C in a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback?
My boyfriend has a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback that he loves, but there’s one problem – we live in Florida and the car has no A/C. It is starting to cool off now, so we are just fine with the windows down, but once summer comes, it will be unbearable. So, what is needed to install an A/C in his car? What parts does he need to buy?

Thanks for your help.

A: With a 15 year old car, it is unlikely that the cost of adding A/C would be lower than replacing the car with a newer, A/C equipped car.

If you’ve ever looked at new cars, you would have seen that options come in two varieties: manufacturer installed and dealer add ons. Some options (pin stripes, stereos and such) often pop up in both categories. Others, like A/C are never dealer installed because, if possible at all, adding them on after the car is built is simply too complicated an endeavor.

Adding A/C to a car is far more complicated than you seem to be expecting. Adding A/C to a house is usually a simple affair involving plopping an air conditioner in an available window and plugging it in. With a car, it’s very different. First, since the layout of engines varies so much from one car make/year to another, there’s no such thing as a “one size fits all”: you would need air conditioning made for that model/year of car. Since the condenser is powered by the engine, rather than the electrical system, it doesn’t just “plug in” either. Car A/C uses the vent system’s air ducts as well, so there’s that to consider. In all, if you can even get the parts, you are looking at several thousands of dollars to add a/c to a car.

Q: What’s the newest prelude year of motor can i put in my 96′ Honda Civic Hatchback CX?
I have a 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback CX and i’m looking for a good engine swap. Can a Prelude motor fit right in,or do i have to modify(some cutting) my inside hood? And what year of Prelude motor can i swap in? What parts do i need to swap a Prelude motor in?

A: I agree with Mike B. The part he left out is that it will leave about 1.5″ of clearance between the oil pan and the ground. That means if you hit a rock on the road, you’re screwed. But regardless, it is completely possible to fit a h22 in it. Try the engine from an RSX type s. It’s a little smaller and packs a helluva punch.

Q: Should I buy a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback?
I found a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback for sale at $1700. It has 230,000 miles on it, but the owner claims it has been meticulously taken car of by replacing many parts under the hood that usually go bad after reaching such high mileage. I’m a college student that drives mostly on the highway and in need of a car with great gas mileage, which it has. And the exterior seems to be in okay shape for the year. He is asking $1700 but is willing to negotiate. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

A: i managed to get a 93 civic sedan with only 55k on hte stock motor and trans, for only 2000. i love how people think their hondas are made of gold or something. keep looking you can find one with half the miles for maybe 2500 and the person willing to negotiate… just remeber no matter the asking price cash talks

Q: honda civic parts car?
is a 1990 civic si hatchback a good parts car for a1989 civic dx hatchback will a majority of the partsbe interchangable

A: Yes, ALL BODY Parts are interchangeable,

and MOST mechanical parts are interchangeable,

the Si has the better “choice” parts than the DX.

Q: Which car is better a 1991 Honda Civic Si Hatchback or a 1992-1995 Honda Civic Hatchback ?
Im 17yrs old in new jersey and im looking to buy either or but i want a car good for everyday use and racing. Light and upgradable. I have heard the Si is more upgradable motor wise because no welding has to be done to install motors, what motors are they. The 92-95 hatchback is all good because many parts are made for it. i need help and what are good mods to add to each car and what is the most hp i could get out of each car and how. THANKS!

A: wow, nice answers.

The EF 1988-1991 Civic Si hatchback has 105-108HP non-vtec motor and a close ratio 5-speed tranny. The EG 1992-1995 Civic hatchback come in many models best for out of the box perfromance is Si since it features a close ratio 5-speed unlike the DX,VX,CX.

Stock EF Si and EG Si:
First buy a clean car, no rust or ricer stuff.
SOHC D16A6 EF Si and SOHC D16Z6 Vtec EG si are great motors both can handle boost like a champ 6-8psi on a tune motor and a T3 can make 220-230whp. The D16A6 motor can use a pep’er cam liek the one found in the ZC, Delta cam.com well sell one for under $100 and offer 10-15 more whp. Built bottom ends $1200 and this motors can boost 14psi on 93 octance and C16 race gas on weekends 18psi
Example. My friend delsol si SOHC vtec has rods and piston ran 11.8 123mph in the 1/4 on slicks and prep, image a car that weighs less then that. Cost under $4000 to do everything

Swap:
Any B-serious is bolt on with motor mounts, shift linkage
H-serious and K-serious require you to cut a little.

On cars, EF is OBD-0 and Si is the only multi-point, all EG’s are multi-point which is better for the swaps, all EF’s are multi-point

Q: If I get a good deal on a 1997 Honda Civic, are parts hard to find?
I’m looking at a 1997 honda DX hatchback with 100K miles on it for for three grand – pictures look real clean inside, outside, under the hood…..I’m going to look at it tomorrow….but I was wondering, with a car that old, is it hard to get parts? are they expensive?

A: There’s so many late 90s Civics out there that spare parts are commonplace.

Q: I have a 2000 Honda Civic Hatchback dx and i want to swap my automatic transmission to manual. Wat do i do?
Tell me what do i need to get or do. Or any websites i can get the parts from.

A: you cant its cheaper to just buy the manual version

Q: honda civic hatchback?
i want to ask
what’s the maximum ticket that you guys get from the honda civic hatchback??
b-cause i was thinking to get hinda civic hatchback..
so yeah and what was the worst part of having honda civic hatchback??

A: pros: better gas, light weight, easy repair, stylish, handles great in all weather, low maintenance, easy car to trick out to race, parts are easy to come by, and not too expensive.

cons: #1 stolen car, also makes insurance go up, every cop checks a Honda’s plates, not much room for people, target cars

Thats about all. Good luck
