A: I do not believe it will because it is a different generation.

96-00 Honda Civics are universal to each other, whereas 92-95 Honda Civics are not.

Q: how much would it ruffly cost for me to get a head lite for my 1998 honda civic ex…?
keep in mind that the stat were i live doesnt charge sales tax so idk if that makes a difference….

A: It might be unlikely to get a new head light. You may have to go to a junk yard. You also can’t just buy the outer lens you have to buy the whole head light bezel. They go for about $25.00 and up depending on where you live. It takes about 45 min to remove and install. I don’t know where your from so I can’t give you a labor cost. I live in Ct. and the labor cost is between $65.00 to $175.00 an hour. If you can order one from a dealer ship I don’t think it will be any less than $75.00 and up.

Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

Q: Looking for used Honda Civic will pay cash!!?
I live in San Jose, Ca and I am looking for a used Honda Civic or Prelude or Accord. Must be 2 door (coupe), with moonroof, all power windows, locks, air conditioning, cruise control, tinted windows, low miles, V6 engine would be nice, maybe white in color or red or silver, automatic would be nice too. Nothing older than 1998. I have $8,000.00 cash in hand! Please answer if you have knowledge of such a vehicle for sale.

A: Well try Yahoo Autos. They will have all sorts of cars that fit your need in your area. They show you pics of the interior, exterior etc. I hope this helps

1998 Honda Civic coupe, 5spd Manual tranny, manual everything, sohc engine, 120,xxx miles, and with some minor customizing/modification/aftermarket stuff.

All work was done by previous owner/s, except for the spoiler and the front and rear strut tower braces, which were done by me. my work is quality but previous owner/s i’m not impressed with. There is a gauge pod with 3 gauges and there is also an aftermarket tach. they were all hooked up when i bought the car, but only the tach and temp gauge worked properly. i don’t think the previous owner/s knew how to wire things properly because a couple of the gauges didn’t read right and also, how ever they had it wired, caused the car to go dead after a couple of days of sitting….. so i cut all of the wires that they had ran to all of the gauges and that fixed the dead battery problem!! lol. i haven’t had time to go through it all and rewire, so it will need redone IF you want them to be functional. I bought the car just to drive it and i wasn’t really concerned with all that extra stuff so it never bothered me. i bought the car for a daily summer time driver for some manual transmission shifting fun!
it will also need a new speedo gear…. somedays it will tell you your speed, other days, not…. lol. should be a cheap fix.
also, the bumpers and the spoiler have been painted (again, prev owners) with i’m guessing spray paint or painted but never clearcoated and buffed…. i’m not sure. those items look fine from a distance and look great at night, but would need resprayed to look really nice.

AFTERMARKET: front bumper, eyebrows, black/chrome rims with 2 matching spare rims, rear spoiler, modified trunk (which is illegal according to the nice policeman, which is why the license plate mounting looks funny – see pics), strut tower braces, cold air intake, muffler. Oh, i’m also running PULSTAR plugs in the engine and it runs GREAT. if you don’t know what those are, look them up… sweet technology.

The car runs and drives VERY nicely and i thoroughly enjoy cruising around in the summer with it…. but i’ve decided to move on from it and get back into Jeeps and 4×4’s. It just has a few minor “cosmetic” issues, but they do NOT affect the driveability/functionality of the car itself. Body condition overa

A: They all look pretty crap to me!

Q: IS this a scam on craigslist for buying a car??/?
I am just going to copy and paste what he wrote me:
I think I covered everything in my ad, but again this is a 1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe, with clear title, 100,500 miles on it, 4 Cylinder 1.6 L engine and automatic transmission. Very clean inside and out. The price I want for it is $890. I took an exceptional care of this vehicle and the buyer of the car will be very happy with it. The VIN is 1HGEJ8241WL040632.

The transaction will be closed only through a 3rd party and this way we will both be protected. My time is limited due to my job, so I decided to use the Vehicle Purchase Protection Program offered by eBay Inc. They handle all the paperwork and collection of selling price, and will hold the payment until you verify the civic is as described and want to keep it. I have already enrolled and paid all the ne cessary fees. To begin the transaction I’ll need your full name and shipping address.

Look how the program work:

1. I will forward the details of our transaction to the eBay Security Program.
2. They will process the paperwork and will email you the Payment Invoice and the transaction details.
3. You will have to submit the payment, as instructed to one of the eBay agents.
4. The payment will be verified and if everything is OK, I will ship the car to your place on my cost.
5. After you receive it, you will have 5 days to inspect and test drive the car.
6. If you accept the vehicle by confirming to eBay, they will send me the payment for the car. They
will then FedEx overnight the signed title to you. If you decide to NOT accept the vehicle for any
reason, they will refund your full payment price within 48 hours. They will then make the necessary
arrangement to have the car picked back up by the vehicle transport company.
Please let me know your position, I have many potential buyers for the car.

P.S : Please don’t forget to send your full name and shipping address if you are interested to buy so I can open a transaction at eBay for our sale.
How do i report it???

!!!!!!!!!!!

No such thing as “eBay Security Program.”

When something sounds too good to be true…. it’s probably a Nigerian pulling a scam!!!!!!

Q: Is this car worth purchasing for a college student?

Low Miles but a 12 year old car?!
the dealer said he’d include sales tax, registration, license, etc all in the total price. He also told me I can test drive for a few hours and take it to a mechanic. How do I get the dealer to lower the price on the car? It’s OLD I want to pay $4800 for it. I’ve been car searching for SO long and I want a Toyota or Honda Civic.

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com
